Pretty good! I loved the crunchy salmon roll! The green goddess was also good. I can't remember the third one we got. Parking wasn't too tricky. Service was fast and we got a table right away. The restaurant is nice - not too fancy but not too loud either.

Love to see a 100% plant based sushi restaurant in Seattle! We know the city certainly could use the diversity. 5 stars for the creativity of making quality sushi without fish! That's true talent. Service was great. Restaurant is quaint. Fun casual vibe. Food was good but I think we ordered incorrectly for our likings. Everything had the vegan mayo which we quickly realized we do not like. We would love to come back and try all the other rolls with no mayo. As the sushi rolls were good!

This was my first ever time trying vegan sushi and I have to say that I'm sad I haven't tried it sooner. We ordered their gyoza and 4 rolls: The Samurai, Red Dragon, PNW, and one other one but I forget the name. Our favorite was between the Samurai and Red Dragon. But I also liked the citrus taste in the PNW. They have a robot server and our actual server was super kind and knowledgeable. They really have the sushi/fish texture and taste down. I'm a fan.

Amazing! We were really impressed with this place. On our way out of Seattle, we stopped by this sushi spot for an early dinner before our red eye. I was accompanied by my two friends who are not vegan but are flexible in terms of the food they eat/are open to. We ordered a few "name familiar" rolls (ones you'd see on a "regular" sushi menu) and it was hit after hit. I've been vegan for over 12 years, so it's been awhile since I've had "real" sushi but their rolls were essentially the real thing that I didn't even have to think about those past days. We loved every roll we ordered (one in particular with a crunch and tuna top), but you can't go wrong with trying a few. Can't wait to come back to Seattle just for this!

Came around 8pm on a weekend. Parking was really easy with free street parking. The shop is pretty small so it was completely packed. We waited about 5min for a table as it was getting late. Menu is very extensive so we did take a bit to order after being seated. Served wasand food came after 20min from ordering. 7/10 Ring of Fire $10.24 6pc - just meh, little below real sushi compared to grocery store sushi. 9/10 Katana $15.99 8pc - very solid! Texture and taste both were excellent and quite comparable to good real sushi 7/10 Crunchy Salmon $11.99 6pc - similar sentiment as ring of fire. Nothing really stood out in a good or bad way. 10/10 Dragon $16.99 8pc - amazing! The top replicated seared salmon/fish taste and the sauce is the same as the unagi sauce which was so good!! Must get! Overall expensive but good spot considering it is vegan. QR Menu: https://www.foodbooking.com/ordering/restaurant/menu?restaurant_uid=c50e807b-eaed-479a-b270-64953afe4598&dine_in=true

I am so grateful to have this vegan sushi place in Seattle and glad to have been able to dine here! We will be back! The experience was absolutely amazing. Everything from the customer service to the sushi was excellent! The atmosphere is very casual and laid back. I loved the vibe! I had the crunchy shrimp sushi and it was delicious. My wife and I also had other types of sushi as well. I am vegetarian, but I am also allergic to shellfish, so I am glad I found this place so that I can have a plant based shellfish taste. The sushi did not appear vegan or taste vegan, and the taste was awesome! I highly recommend Sushi Samurai! We also loved Mio the robot who assists the servers. She is so cute!

EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS TO DIE FOR. I'm always on the hunt for good vegan food - I'm not vegan but just love to explore options and this did not disappoint at all. Usually when a certain dish is prepared with a vegan perspective, it's quite difficult to mimic the texture of meat and I was really curious to see how they would pull that off with sushi since raw fish has a really unique texture. I was blown away by how similar it was to the actual texture. They don't make the vegan salmon in-house, but it was so delicious and I really couldn't have been able to tell it wasn't fish if I didn't already know it was vegan. Even the LOOK was on point, as they somehow mimicked the coloring and the white lines on the salmon too. They have outdoor dining options too if you have a well behaved doggo (ours was the perfect boy).

I had been wanting to try vegan sashimi and I was pleased by my first experience. We started with seaweed salad, followed by an order of tempura rolls and Seattle roll. The seaweed salad was perfectly seasoned, a good balance of sweet and savory. The tempura rolls were crispy and delicious. The Seattle roll's vegan sashimi had me fooled. It tasted like salmon! The flavor on its own was a bit understated but paired beautifully with wasabi and soy sauce. For dessert, we ordered the pecan cheesecake which was so lovely in its presentation. The orchids were edible! We enjoyed munching on a few once we learned they were more than just a garnish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. The ambiance was relaxed and welcoming and the bathroom was spotless. I would love to return to try some of the other menu offerings as they have such a great selection of fresh sushi.

I think this is one of my all-time favorite vegan sushi spots, and I've been to many in different cities. I came with two vegetarian friends on a Friday evening without a reservation, and after about a 10 minute wait, we were seated on their outdoor patio. It was a beautiful summer day, the weather was warm, and I was excited to try their sushi! My friends ordered the Aladdin unfiltered sake bottle to share, which comes in a cute potion-like bottle (which we later brought home for Halloween decor :p). We also got the edamame and gyoza as appetizers, both of which I loved!! The edamame was perfectly salted, and the gyoza was nice and crispy, with a delicious dipping sauce to pair. As for sushi, we got the Yoga roll, Avocado roll, and Katana roll. I usually prefer vegetarian sushi places that are more vegetable-forward, instead of trying to use fake fish substitutes. However, I absolutely loved the vegan salmon!! A lot of times vegan fish can taste kind of weird for me, texture-wise, especially as a non-vegetarian, but this was really good and definitely changed my outlook on vegan fish substitutes. The plating on the dishes is also beautiful, and very camera friendly. The prices are pretty standard for Seattle, and I'm definitely excited to come back and try new rolls!
